Our Story

Pardo Build is a Passive House certified builder serving the Hudson Valley, New York, with a focus on thoughtful, high performance construction.

Led by Yaron Pardo, our company brings together decades of experience in fine woodworking, architectural millwork, construction management, and building science. We work with homeowners, architects, and designers to build homes that are durable, efficient, and thoughtfully executed.

Our Approach

We think of buildings as integrated systems, not a collection of independent parts.

Every project begins with a unique set of conditions: a site, a design, a budget, a schedule, and a client's priorities. Our role is to understand how those pieces fit together and make informed decisions that lead to a better building.

The earlier we're involved, the greater our ability to improve performance, anticipate challenges, and simplify construction. We help clients and design teams balance performance, constructability, durability, and design intent.

Our work is guided by five principles:

  • Critical thinking

  • Craftsmanship

  • Collaboration

  • Clear communication

  • Environmental responsibility

High Performance Building

High performance building is about creating homes that are healthier, more comfortable, more durable, and more efficient.

As Certified Passive House Builders, we apply building science principles to every project, whether or not formal certification is pursued. By approaching the building as an integrated system, we create homes that use less energy, provide superior indoor comfort, and perform for decades.

Performance also depends on sequencing. Decisions made during framing affect everything that follows, from air sealing and insulation to the work of future trades. By anticipating how each phase of construction impacts the next, we reduce missed opportunities and deliver buildings that perform as intended.
