High-Performance Home Builder

Residential construction in the Hudson Valley grounded in building science, craftsmanship, and a clear, collaborative process.

Our Story

Pardo Build is a residential construction company based in the Hudson Valley, focused on high-performance new homes, renovations, and additions.

We approach building as both a craft and a technical discipline. Our work combines careful construction and a strong understanding of building science with an appreciation for considered design and materials.

Just as importantly, we believe a successful project depends on good planning, clear communication, and a team that works well together. We work closely with homeowners, architects, engineers, consultants, and trades from early planning through completion.

Our Approach

We think of buildings as integrated systems, not a collection of independent parts.

Every project starts with its own set of conditions: site, design, budget, schedule, performance goals, and client priorities. Our role is to understand how those pieces relate to one another and help the team make informed decisions throughout the project.

Our approach is collaborative and direct. We encourage questions, clear communication, and critical thinking from everyone involved. The goal is not simply to execute a set of drawings, but to bring the experience of the whole team to the work and find better solutions when issues or opportunities come up.

High Performance Building

Building science informs the way we approach every project, guiding decisions around insulation, airtightness, moisture management, thermal bridging, windows and doors, mechanical systems, durability, and occupant comfort.

Phius establishes rigorous, climate-specific standards for passive and high-performance buildings. While not every Pardo Build project pursues certification, those principles provide a technical framework for how we think about insulation, airtightness, thermal bridging, moisture management, windows and doors, mechanical systems, durability, and comfort.
